WOODHEYS PRIMARY SCHOOL CONTINUOUS PROVISION IN YEAR 1
Are you thinking of introducing Continuous Provision in Year 1? Not sure where
to start? We recently ran a well received training course all about how we
started out on this magical journey two years ago with teachers from all over
the UK visiting our school to see it in action. Due to popular request, we are
offering a recorded version of our training course so you can see how we are
successfully using a play based approach in Year 1 in the comfort of your own
home!
During the recording we will show and share:
-Key information from a wealth of research about what continuous provision is
and the benefits of using a play based approach in KS1.
-How to ensure progression from the EYFS.
-Virtual tour of our indoor and outdoor learning landscape
-Our bespoke planning, marking and feedback system and Objective Led
Planning.
-How we record and evidence learning, including the use of Tapestry.
-The adult’s role.
-How we share learning with Parents.
-Our timetable.
-Tried and tested tips and ideas.
-Recommended resources.
-Challenges along the way and how to tackle them.
What you will receive:
-A copy of our timetable
-Planning, marking and feedback sheets
-Objective led planning grid
-Curriculum coverage document showing how objectives can be met in CP
-List of recommended resources for areas
Cost: £50
